Our campsite is located close to the river Driva , some six kilometers south of Oppdal, which is located in a northern valley of the Dovrefjell mountain range.
The distance from the city of Trondheim is 120 km. In winter, Oppdal is a popular resort for alpine skiers.
Our surroundings include one of the most spectacular mountains in Norway, well known for the musk-ox who live here. We can arrange a “safari” for one or more persons.
Our surroundings are perfect for hiking. The campsite is also a base for rafting tours in one of Norway’s most popular rafting rivers. There are also splendid possibilities for daytrips by car to visit some of Norways most beautiful fjords and coastal landscapes, well within an hour’s drive.
We can offer free fishing for salmon and trout in the adjacent river, together with plenty of different activities and interests in the nearby areas.The campsite is in very good condition, with excellent facilities.There are toilets, showers, a kitchen and a laundry room in a building which has renovated during the past three years , plus two new buildings with service facilities.We can offer cabins and apartments in all categories, from small 2- person cabins to spacious 8- person cabins with full standard.
If you prefer an apartment , we can offer you high standard acommodation for 2 - 5 persons in recently-built apartments ( winter 2006/2007 ).
We offer extensive, evenly-surfaced areas for tents, and an additional area for camping cars and caravans.The reception, together with a small shop, is open all day in the summer.
